Optimization Under Uncertainty
I am the head of an independent MATH+ junior research group in the Institute of Mathematics at Technische Universität Berlin. My research, very broadly speaking, is on approximation algorithms for uncertain environments with special focus on online and stochastic models. Before joining TU Berlin in October 2023, I was a Research Officer at London School of Economics and Political Science, working with Neil Olver. I received my PhD in Computer Science from Universität Bremen in 2020, where I was fortunate to be advised by Nicole Megow. I received a M.Sc. in Mathematics for Operations Research in 2016 and a B.Sc. in Mathematics in 2014 from Technische Universität München.
If I am not at university or travelling to workshops and conferences, you can find me either running, on my road bike, in the closest book store or curled up with a good book and a cup of tea. (Yes, I drink my black tea with a dash of oat milk.)
